Repeat Prescriptions

multicolour_pillsHow do I order my prescription online?

Patients new to this service are required to bring photo ID (such as a drivers licence or passport) to the reception. We can then issue you with a user name and password and A Guide to Ordering Your Repeat Prescription Online

This link will take you directly to the Systmonline login page (Please note that it can take up to an hour after your username and password have been generated for you to be able to log in)

You can also order prescriptions from your printed repeat prescription slip. To re-order simply do one of the following:

  • Hand it in to reception having clearly marked the items required.

Please note, to avoid errors, we do not take prescription requests over the telephone.

Pharmacy Arrangements

Some pharmacies collect prescriptions from Southernhay House & Whipton Branch Surgery. Please speak with your local pharmacy to find out if they have this arrangement.

Electronic Prescription Service (EPS)

The Electronic Prescription Service (EPS) sends electronic prescriptions from GP surgeries to pharmacies. Eventually EPS will remove the need for most paper prescriptions.

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip. Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.

48_hoursPlease allow two full working days for prescriptions to be processed and remember to take weekends and bank holidays into account.
